Super Pocket Bikes – How to Get Optimal Perfomance
As most racers will say, you can get performance, and you can get Performance. The main objective is to get the best performance you can, and particularly with super pocket bikes. It is not that hard to get the most optimum performance possible from a super pocket bike. To maintain your bike in the best possible condition, there are some fundamental suggestions to help you do this.
If you want your super pocket bike to continue to run with precision, a fundamental rule to keep in mind, which you should consider with any motor vehicle, is to select the kind of gasoline you use carefully. The professionals will usually advise you to avoid using racing fuel with super pocket bikes. You will not get any benefit from using it, and you may very well have problems that you wouldn’t encounter with other fuels. Unleaded gasoline with a high octane rating is optimal. Check out the condition of the gasoline pumps and the surrounding ground, as you should at any gasoline station. If you see standing water around the pumps, and the pumps themselves appear to be in poor condition, it’s best to move on to the next station. You also want to use the correct mixture of oil. Be sure to purchase motorcycle oil, not automobile oil, and the oil mixtures are pretty straightforward.
Use your common sense when you are in the process of breaking in your super pocket bike. Avoid maxing out the RPM of your super pocket bike while you are breaking it in, as this will place excessive strain on the motor. The break-in period for your bike will take an average of four to five tankfuls of gas to do it properly. While it’s being broken in, avoid pushing the bike, and take it easy. As the old adage goes, slow and steady will win you the race. Another facet of caring for your bike involves the start-up: don’t run the bike cold. Run your super pocket bike for about 5 minutes to warm it up sufficiently and to give the fluids time to lubricate the motor and have time reach its ideal running temperature. Engines are not designed to run when they’re cold! You allow your car to warm up during the winter before starting off, and you need to do this for your bike, as well.
Lastly, familiarize yourself with your super pocket bike. You will learn to determine what sounds and behaviors are normal and those that aren’t. If you detect an abnormal sound, or it isn’t running well, shut it off immediately and determine what is wrong with your machine. Promptly repair anything wrong as quickly as possible, and avoid riding it until the repairs are completed. Being cautious with your bike will reduce the amount of money you have to spend significantly with time. If you heed these suggestions, you will have an enjoyable experience with your super pocket bike, and it will live up to your expectations.
